Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Hajj and Umrah Management must be in line with the journal's focus, scope, and author guidelines. Manuscripts must contain scientific originality or academic contributions relevant to the field of Hajj and Umrah Management. Authors are required to ensure that manuscripts are free from plagiarism. Therefore, it is highly recommended to use plagiarism detection software before submission. The editorial team will also conduct plagiarism screening using specialized software.

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process by at least two (2) qualified reviewers in the field of Islamic education management. The review process uses a Double-Blind Peer Review system, where the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure the objectivity of the evaluation. Manuscripts under review will be returned to the authors for revision based on the reviewers' comments. Authors are expected to submit the revised version within two weeks of receiving the revision request. The final decision on article acceptance is made by the editorial board based on the reviewers' evaluation.

As stated in the journal's publication ethics, the entire review process is conducted confidentially and professionally until the manuscript is deemed ready for publication.

The order and schedule of article publication are determined by the Editor-in-Chief, based on the date of submission, the geographical diversity of the authors, and the thematic issues published.
